All other students will be called in early spring to be scheduled into the 2009 summer schedule. All returning students will be scheduled first. New students are placed as space comes available in order on the waiting list.

• Available for lease - LEASED  (2 days a week for $150/month): Chino Chant is a 1988 AQHA bay gelding. He stands 15HH. He is a great babysitter horse in controlled environments such as the arena or yard. See Services page for details about leasing.

 
•  Available for Lease - LEASED (2 days a week for $150/month): Dry Sark (Dreamer) is a 1999 QH mare who would do nicely at open or AQHA shows with some finishing touches. She is also great on trails - she competed in 2007 very successfully in the NATRC Challenge of the North, competitive trail ride. See services page for details about leasing.

•  Available for Lease - LEASED (2 days a week for $150 a month): Isa Perfect Dream is a 2002 APHA gelding who has been shown extensively since age 3. He is a very mellow horse. Has had some reining experience, is being started over fences, and is very experienced on the trails. He rides alone or in groups. See more information about his experience and training on the stallion page as he was previously our farm stallion (and is sire to our newest addition - Blizzard). •  4H Leader Council meetings - 2nd Saturday of each month @ 10:00 a.m., Old UPark Rm. 154 

• Our mare, Dry Sark surprised us in the early hours of the morning (April 30th) with a healthy colt! After checking her daily, and her being a week overdue with no strong signs that she would foal, she fooled us all. When I checked on her at 1:30 am out of habit by flicking the lights on (not expecting to see anything), I was astounded to see the flicker of little white legs standing beside her! After all of the prep to help her in the foaling process, I guess she just wanted to do it herself. We checked on mom and baby (both were doing really well), took photos, and settled them into their stall for the rest of the night.

• This colt is by our APHA stallion, Isa Perfect Dream. We are proud to welcome him into the family. His lines include Doc Bar, Poco Bueno, Poca Lena, Skipa Star Jr., Three Bars, Docs Cutty Sark, and more!

• Blizzard is on his way to becoming a seasoned show horse! He has attended three horse shows now with Dreamer (his Dam).

• 2008 Parade of Stallions is on May 11
• IHA shows planned for this summer are as follows:

• Midnight Sun show - June 20, 21, 22
• Golden Days show - July 18, 19, 20
• Fair Show - August 7, 8, 9
• IHA make-up show September 13 & 14

• IHA open ride nights start May 19 - Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays at 6:00 p.m.
